The process of adopting a child is filled with of all sorts of emotion. It is often compared to a roller-coaster of ups and downs (the ups being so much greater in the end). Obtaining a child can be filled with long hours of waiting, wondering and hoping that a family will choose you and that there won't be too many legal issues. Erin and Jake have some of the biggest hearts I've ever seen! They never stopped Hoping and Rejoicing with a sense of expectancy that God would deliver. I wanted to share this little glimpse of Erin's shower with you in hopes that if you are trying to adopt, you will start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Times are hard but there is always something great around the corner!
