My Private Wedding Shot List

Updated: May 31, 2022

This post is for all of the Brides, Photographers and Wedding Planners out there! We all know that weddings can be both joyful and stressful depending on how well you prepare in advance. The amount of detail involved in planning a wedding can overwhelm even the calmest of Brides. I've found over the years that it's always best to tackle the day with a detailed plan; for us photographers, that plan is a Wedding Day Shot List!

I typically only share my Private Shot List with pre-booked wedding clients but today I am also going to share it with YOU! I hope that it helps you along your journey. Please keep in mind that I rarely capture all of the photos on this list in one day, however, I do always make sure to capture the specific shots my client has requested.

The same list that you see below is sent to my Brides in a survey format where they can select the shots that are most relevant and important to them. I find that the majority of my Brides like to deselect shots that do not interest them to leave room for what they actually excites them! Every couple is different with unique needs and tastes. I also leave a section for couples to write down any additional shots that are not on this list. It is my goal to give couples the photos that THEY want and having this list helps me to achieve that goal.

I've divided my shot list into sections to help you with flow and organization. Enjoy my friends ;-)
