Emily & Andrew Battaglia

I've known Emily for almost 7 years now so I'm sure you will not be surprised when you hear me say, it makes my heart jump for joy to know that she's finally found the man of her dreams! Both of us girls went through many ups and downs together over the years...hurtful breakups, confusing times and also adventures like riding motorcycles (I was always the back passenger lol) and spelunking in abandoned caves at night.
My husband and I tied the knot in 2018 and shortly afterward, went on our honeymoon where we turned out phones off for 10 days. When we returned, so much had changed and one of those changes was Andrew. Naturally when Emily told me that she had met this amazing guy in the 10 days that we were gone, I was skeptical. I'm the kind of friend that is protective of the people I love. I do not like to see my friends get hurt but then I met Andrew and got to know him and WOW! I could not think of a more perfect person for my friend. Andrew works hard and has a great sense of humor. He's strong, has been through a lot in his life and he loves hard. It's cliche' but true that love always comes when you least expect it. I always tell girls to just focus on Jesus. When your eyes are on him and you are filled with his joy, the right man will come in God's timing. We need not worry about when or how. Anyways, I am so proud of these two humans and now the tiny human they have created! What an amazing testimony they will have. What an amazing light they will shine for young people getting married everywhere. Emily and Andrew, thank you for allowing me to share in your joy and be your friends.
